Where His glory shall be revealed

Where the sin, sick soul shall heal

We are under an open Heaven

We are under an open heaven

Where His Power shall overflow

Where the broken shall be made whole

We are under an open heaven

We are under an open heaven

Overcoming Spiritual Dryness:

There are times as believers, including clergy, where you feel so dry that you just want to give up, you just want to forget your call, or you are tempted to compromise your faith because of the season of dryness.

Know that this season will surely come and go, but never hold on to a season, because holding on to a season can stir up offense in your heart and may change your perspective on spiritual and physical things.

The truth is that great men of old also once went through their seasons of dryness. Elijah was at the Brook Cherith, and he experienced dryness. Sometimes we may face times when our spiritual vitality seems to wane, leaving us feeling empty and distant from God. These seasons are part of the spiritual journey and can serve as opportunities for growth and deeper dependence on God.

The good news is that God always makes a way where there seems to be no way, God provided for Elijah during his time at the brook Cherith. Even in seasons of spiritual dryness, God sustains and provides for His faithful servants.

What I need you to do is reflect on the ways God has provided for you in your own lives, Count your blessings and name them one by one.

Lastly, dryness may be a sign that you have not totally completed your goal, task, or assignment, and you need to push to see the completion so you can advance to the next level.
