1. Lord, help me to live a life that honours you and your name by putting your kingdom above all else.
2. Heavenly Father, I surrender my own desires and ambitions to you. Help me to deny myself and take up my cross daily, following Jesus wholeheartedly.
3. Lord, fill me with your Holy Spirit so I can carry out powerful deeds in your name and walk in greater authority.
4. Give me the strength and courage to persevere through challenges and difficulties, knowing that you are with me every step of the way.
5. Lord, open doors of opportunity for me and direct my steps towards your preordained plan for my life.

The True Cost of Discipleship
Most people want to perform many Miracles and receive many accolades and songs of praise from people, but I tell you becoming a disciple of Jesus is costly and not cheap. Many say they are selfless but its easier said than done.

the life you ought to live is a life of self denial in the obedience of Christ, Jesus calls us to let go of our selfish desires and ambitions. He wants us to put Him first in our lives, surrendering our will to His. Denying ourselves means seeking God's kingdom and righteousness above all else, trusting Him to provide for our needs.

In the School of discipleship one must take up their cross daily, it involves embracing the challenges and difficulties that come with following Christ. It means being willing to face opposition, persecution, and even rejection for the sake of the Gospel. But in doing so, we identify with Jesus' sacrifice and find true meaning and purpose in our lives.

Following Jesus requires commitment and obedience. It means walking in His footsteps, imitating His love, compassion, and servant-heartedness. As we follow Jesus, we can experience the joy of seeing lives transformed and the Kingdom of God advancing through our lives.

yes the cost of discipleship is high, but the rewards are immeasurable. There are times you may have to leave your family behind, your job, your country , even your home church to fulfill the will of God . Life is no longer about you or what you can gain, it’s about God and his kingdom and walking in obedience to him no matter the cost.

May we walk in the footsteps of Jesus, empowered by His Spirit, and shining His light in a world that desperately needs Him.
