The Rise of The Watchmen
The Number 1 mistake a lot of potential Watchmen make is that they want to become soothsayers, because of the pressure of the world, most Watchmen are called to Watch and conceal that they have foresaw in prayers, the Realm that God is opening up for the Watchers is not to become Celebrity Prophets but Watchers that will impose the will of of God in this Realm. The Glory or Honor of a Watchman is lost when they glut in their ability of sight rather in the fulfillment of the intent of God.
In Ezekiel 1-6, we witness the powerful encounter of the prophet Ezekiel with the glory of God. Through vivid imagery and symbolic visions, God communicates His sovereignty, holiness, and His desire for His people to repent and turn back to Him. Ezekiel is called to be a watchman, delivering messages of warning, judgment, and hope to the rebellious Israelites. This passage reminds us of the importance of obedience, repentance, and our responsibility to proclaim God's truth even in difficult circumstances. It reveals God's faithfulness in fulfilling His promises and His desire to bring restoration and transformation to His people. As we study this passage, let us be challenged to examine our own hearts, listen to God's voice, and respond in obedience to His calling.
