The Fear of the Lord: Reverence, not Terror

Let's talk about the "fear of the Lord." It's not the kind of fear that grips you when facing a bear or a tiger, for God has not given us a spirit of fear. Instead, this fear is about reverence and honor. It's about approaching God with awe and respect. When we truly understand God, fear transforms into something beautiful.

I recall a moment when I tied up a ram to a pole, only to find it loose and charging at me with its horns. Fear consumed me, and I felt helpless. But after a few minutes, I gathered my faith and boldness. I picked up some stones and faced the ram, and it yielded.

That experience taught me that with fear in your heart, you can't function the way God intends. Fear paralyzes, but faith and reverence empower.
