Prayer Points:

1. Pray for a heart of humility, that we may recognize our need for God's guidance and grace.

2. Pray for wisdom to discern between right and wrong, and for the courage to stand for justice.

3. Pray for reconciliation in situations of conflict, that God's peace may prevail.

4. Pray for those who have wronged us, that they may experience God's transformative love and forgiveness.

5. Pray for a deepening of our relationship with God, that we may draw near to Him in times of trouble.

6. This is my month of praise and glory in jesus name

There was once a brother facing financial turmoil due to his child's urgent need for surgery. While his friends and co-workers were more than willing to help, he let pride take the reins. He believed he could solve his problems single-handedly and decided to seek a quick fix from a notorious loan shark.

As time went by, the loan shark's demands grew far beyond what he could afford, and he found himself drowning in debt. Thankfully, he eventually realized the folly of his prideful ways. When he humbled himself and turned to his friends for help, they rallied around him, and together they rescued him from his entanglement.

Now, think about the nation of Edom, as highlighted in the book of Obadiah. Their pride and arrogance led them down a destructive path, mistreating their neighbours and relying on self-sufficiency. Ultimately, their pride brought about their downfall.

The message is clear: Pride is not pleasing to God, and it often leads to a reckoning. Let's stay vigilant, humble, and open to receiving help when needed. Pride may be subtle, but its consequences can be profound.
