Preservation Through Trials

APOSTLE EMMANUEL NICHOLAS

Jul 25, 2023

Memory Verse:

2 Kings 20

4 Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the Lord came to him: 5 “Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord. 6 I will add fifteen years to your life. And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my sake and for the sake of my servant David.’”

Inspirations:

"Prayer is not the last resort; it is the first step towards God's intervention in our lives."

Prophetic word:

"The storms of life may rage, but God's hand will guide you through every trial and bring you to a place of victory."

Prayer Points:

1. Pray for a heart that seeks God's will above all else and trusts in His plans and timing.

2. Ask for strength and perseverance to endure through trials, holding onto faith in the midst of challenges.

3. Pray for God's healing touch upon any areas of physical or emotional affliction, trusting in His promise of restoration.

4. Seek God's wisdom and guidance in decision-making, so that we may walk in His ways.

5. Pray for a heart of repentance and forgiveness, both towards others and ourselves, knowing that God's grace abounds.

Preservation Through Trials

Since the fall of man in the garden, man has always undergone all kinds of trials and difficult times, and this is not excluded in the times we are in now. The truth is that the closer we are to the return of Christ, the more intense the trails and difficult times of this world will be, but we can definitely trust in our God to equip us with the power and endurance to overcome all trials.
For some, their trials may be casted to the yonder places, while others will have to go through the fire or through the storms of life.

The enemy (the devil and your flesh ) will not want you to pray when you are in a trial; you will find yourself complaining and murmuring rather than praying. Hezekiah heard a prophecy, but he didn't shut down; rather, he turned in faith and prayed to God.
You see, the enemy is not God; sometimes God allows these things to happen to us because he knows we are capable of handling them.
You are precious in the eyes of God, and if the enemy wants you to expire or rot like a grapefruit, then God will allow trials to crush you, turn you from Grape into wine, and preserve you.

Trust in the process of your preservation through trials. God is with us all the way; even if you don't know what to do next, trust in God.
