Living a Transformed Life in Christ

APOSTLE EMMANUEL NICHOLAS

Jul 16, 2023

Memory Verse:

Colossians 3:17

"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

Inspirations:

Your true identity is found in Christ, not in the things of this world."

Prophetic word:

"God is urging His people to put their focus on things above and rise above the world's temptations and distractions. You will notice a divine transformation in your attitudes, behaviors, and thoughts as you do this. You can live a life that displays Christ's love, mercy, and grace because of the power He has given you inside. Opportunities will present themselves to you, and God will use you as a means of revealing the mystery of Christ to others. Your example will encourage others to enter the Kingdom of God by serving as a testament to His goodness and faithfulness."

Prayer Points:

1. Your true identity is found in Christ, not in the things of this world.

2. When you align your actions and words with the name of Jesus, you bring glory to God in everything you do.

3. Compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience are the qualities that make you shine as a true follower of Christ.

4. Let the peace of Christ guard your heart and bring tranquility to your soul, regardless of the circumstances.

5. Wisdom is not just knowing what is right; it's applying that knowledge in love and grace.

Living a Transformed Life in Christ

The life that God wants us to live is not of this world. In this world, there are many noises and distractions, and many people are entangled by things that are of lesser importance to God and his kingdom. We ought to live a transformed life in Christ daily, seeking to emulate Christ. The rulers of this world have positioned things to make it nearly impossible to live a transformed life or emulate Christ, but only if you can live above the noise of this world (music, soccer, football, basketball, movies, etc.). We need not have these things as our mini gods; they limit us from fulfilling our destinies and living for God. Living a transformed life in Christ requires us to prioritize our relationship with God above all else. While it is not inherently wrong to enjoy activities like music, sports, or movies, we must be cautious not to let them become distractions that hinder our spiritual growth.

put off their old selves and put on the new selves, which are being renewed in the image of our Creator. This transformation involves developing Christ-like character qualities such as compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. As we intentionally cultivate these traits, we become effective ambassadors of Christ's love to the world around us.
