Jesus Our Access to God's Grace
In the book of Hebrews, we encounter the remarkable role of Jesus as our advocate. He stands as our representative before the Father, pleading on our behalf with love and grace. It's an incredible privilege to have Jesus as our advocate, and here's what this means for us:
Unwavering Intercession: Jesus goes beyond being our High Priest; He serves as our Advocate. He stands in the gap, interceding for us and providing us with access to the abundant grace of our Heavenly Father. Even in our moments of weakness and stumbling, Jesus is there, advocating for our forgiveness and restoration. His intercession remains steadfast.
The High Priest of a New Covenant: Jesus, our High Priest, introduces a new and superior covenant. Through His once-for-all sacrifice, He grants us unrestricted entry into the presence of our Heavenly Father.
Access to God's Throne: Thanks to Jesus, we now have direct access to the throne of grace. We can confidently approach God, knowing that His love and mercy eagerly await us.
