Prayer Points:

1. Pray for a heart that honors God and seeks His instructions in all areas of life.

3. Pray for spiritual leaders, that they may faithfully teach and live out God's Word.

4. Seek purification and restoration, surrendering any areas of sin or uncleanliness to God.

5. Ask for the grace to pursue holiness daily, relying on the power of the Holy Spirit.

Honoring God and Pursuing Holiness

In today's devotional, I am  going to begin by asking a question: Is your life honouring God? Those who want to work for God must understand they need to separate themselves from the crowd; we must be distinguished from everyone else. As believers, we are called to live holy lives, separating ourselves from worldly influences and pursuing righteousness. This means making intentional choices to align our thoughts, actions, and words with God's will. It requires daily surrendering our desires and submitting to His guidance. Living a life that honours God also means being mindful of the company we keep, surrounding ourselves with fellow believers who encourage and challenge us in our faith. We must be vigilant in guarding our hearts and minds against the temptations of this world, seeking God's wisdom and discernment in all areas of life. 

Additionally, honouring God involves using our gifts and talents for His glory and serving others selflessly and with humility. It means being a light in the darkness and showing love, compassion, and forgiveness to those around us. Ultimately, living a life that honours God is a lifelong journey of growth and transformation as we continually seek to become more like Christ. May we strive each day to live in such a way that brings honour and glory to our Heavenly Father.
