Prayer Points:

1. Pray for the grace to follow the ways of the Lord wholeheartedly, not turning aside to the right or left.

2. Ask God to ignite a passion for His Word and His presence in your heart, just as Josiah did.

3. Pray for the courage to stand firm in your faith and lead others to seek God's face in all circumstances.

4. Lord, strengthen me to stand firm in the face of trials and tribulations, relying on Your Word and the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome.

5. Heavenly Father, grant me the boldness and compassion to share Your Word with others, that they may also experience the life-changing power of Your love and grace.

A Call to Revival

Just as in the days of old, wickedness is rampant in our cities and nations. Everywhere you look, there are displays of idolatry, and it has also creeped into the church. There is a huge spiritual decline. If we don't stand up today, what will the next generation do?

Josiah discovered the Book of the Law. He tore his clothes as a sign of repentance and sent officials to inquire about the Lord's words. Josiah's actions led to a revival of worship in Judah, renewing the covenant between God and the nation. He demolished altars, destroyed idols, and purged the temple of false worship. He reestablished the Passover, making him the first king to turn to the Lord with all his heart, soul, and strength.

As Josiah did in the past, we will need to rise to the occasion of total repentance and cleanse both the church and the cities before we can see the true transformation power of God through Revival.
