“The Prayer of a Righteous Person

is Powerful & Effective.”

    - James 5:16b [NIV]

God Has Answers And A Provision For You!

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”

- Matthew 7:7,8 (NIV)

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

- Mark 11:24 (NIV)

“And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.”

- John 14:13 (NIV)

“Everything... Was possible to the man and women who knew how to pray.  Prayer, indeed, opened a limitless storehouse, and God’s hand withheld nothing.  Prayer intoduced those who practiced it into a world of privilege and brought the strength and wealth of heaven down to the aid of finite man.  What right and wonderful power was theirs who had learned the secret of the victorious approach to God.”

One of the most important factors that shape our relationship with God is effective prayer.  A successful prayer life takes time, depth, commitment, knowledge of God and His Word, self-awareness, and a strong belief in the love of God and His commitment to honor His Word.  Consistently answered prayer does not come easily.  It is an art to be learned and a science to be studied.  It belongs to both the humble and the strong.  Prayer is easy, yet it is very complex.  Successful prayer, however, is the key to a successful Christian walk.

This website is dedicated to encouraging people to pray...

to learn about prayer... understand prayer... to deepen in prayer, and to be successful at prayer.

For successful prayer to be happening, we need to see and believe in the goodness of God and the abundant provision of God.  Does God have what we need?  Is the Creator of the Universe short on supplies?  Is heaven scrambling to get its needs met?  Seeing the “largeness” of God helps us to see His ability to meet our needs.

There are many Scriptures that inform us of God’s desire to answer prayer and His desire to meet our needs.  He did not give His people prayer for the purpose of frustrating us or for the purpose of leaving our prayers unanswered.  Answered prayer rests on the foundation of God’s love and God’s promises. Without knowledge of those promises and a belief in their power, then prayer, at best, can be a frustrating endeavor.

This website is designed to give you as many insights as possible to position yourself to receive answers to prayer.  The amount of information available can seem overwhelming.  You can pick one or two key points and incorporate them into your prayer life.  After those are solidified, pick a couple more and learn about them.  God does not expect us to be perfect tomorrow, but with time He does want us to become practiced at Effective Prayer.
